Our dad worked at It's a Small World when he was in high school. Ever since then, he has continued to keep the spirit of that great song along with the light of Disney within his daily life.
He was unable to make it out to California for the 50th Anniversary of It's a Small World. The had a reunion with all of the former "small world" employees. It was heartbroken for him that he had mistaken the month that this was to happen and missed it.
At every Disney Park, they had a world-wide sing-a-long joining together in singing the famous "It's a Small World" theme song — So I decided to make a surprise sing-a-long of our own with all of his kids. I made him put on his old hat for a "picture" and had all the fam set up outside on video chat.
