First Mother's Day
I was so grateful that Jaycob got his first day off since we've been here for Mother's Day.
We went on a fun walk until it started pouring rain.
The moment I became a mom… definitely the most special things I could ever experience. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has trusted me to care for his sweet little angel of a daughter. Spending time with Millie is the most rewarding job I could ever ask for.
I am loving Millie's little dress from BAOBAB Organics. It's made of all organic cotton and water based ink. I thought that the colors would be dull because of those things but they are so vibrant and gorgeous.
This was my first time away from home for Mother's Day. It's weird to think that we will now be starting out own traditions. Any ideas on fun Mother's Day traditions that you like to do with your family?

Millie's First Easter || Current Favorite Toys from Melissa and Doug

Many of these toys are provided by "Melissa and Doug." Millie gets so excited over these toys and I am loving the simple colors on the wooden toys.
Also included in Millie's basket are some incredible handmade bunny families that our dear friend Lyle hand sewed for Millie. They are all baseball themed – all the girls have baseball patterned dresses. One has Jaycob's name and number on an A's jersey and a detachable ball and mitt! They're so extraordinary!

Millie and I went on a walk around the neighborhood where I grew up and I just had to take pictures of her with our neighbors stunning tree. This tree makes spring one of my favorite times of the year!

My talented sister-in-law, Jayna, took these fun easter pictures of the Brugman grandkids while we were in Arizona for Spring Training. Jaycob's mom gave all of the kids matching easter clothes for the picture – so sweet!

These shoes!! Where do I begin? Honestly when they were sent to me I just figured they would be like a typical tennis shoe... they are absolutely not. These shoes are so incredibly comfortable that I have worn them every day since I got them... and that's no lie (I did have to skip wearing them to church though... what a bummer). Looks like I'll be needing to get a few more colors!
